A beautiful rainbow sunrise from my window to welcome Christmas Day!! Christmas Eve! Yay!! We left home to do our annual ‘look at the Christmas lights’ journey. We took the teleférico and had planned to do a big circuit...but we ran into a little problem. When we got to the end of the white line, and went over to jump on the orange line...but it was a HUGE line! Doh! I totally didn’t think about the fact that the orange line goes straight to the central market and it was Christmas Eve! Gah! So, change of plans. We had noticed coming in to the teleférico stop a big open area above it, so we decided to explore it. We found these really fun riding cars and the kids spent a few minutes cruising around the area! So fun! Even Devin took a turn! After a few rounds around the ‘track’, we ran back down and hopped on the white line to go back home. We took it to the end of the line, then grabbed a minibus and watched the traffic, the lights, and the mobs of shoppers. Lots of shoppers. We got home, watched for Santa, opened our Christmas Eve gift, and everyone went to bed early! Whew! Merry Christmas!!

this is my favorite invention ever. It took 3 days to make including half a month to add details.
I especially loved making the inside of the base and putting in ice pieces. this is a scene from Star Wars. It took about 30 minutes to make, I made lots of other scenes that include:
Less trees less droids and they are much smaller than this scene. I wanted to make a sene of the battle of hoth, so I got all of my white bricks and built this, it's awesome
what you can build with Lego bricks! if you have watched Star Wars you would know what this is. This was my first X wing I ever made!
It took a long time to make. In feature I took it apart. about a month ago I made a Lego Alamo. the Alamo was a fort in San Antonio Texas,
it was really hard to make it because I had to make the stable and the thick walls and all the soldiers. but it was worth it! Each Lego soldier counted as ten men, also I had a really fun time making the muskets! I had a lot of fun making the Lego castle it took me weeks to get it right it was so much fun. Woohoo!
Today we had a party. We made it our self! We had blankets on the ground.
With a table full of treats, what fun! |
