I adore history. So, regardless of what unit we're doing, I'm doing a totally separate study on history. We're studying the Ancients this year. It's SO cool. The kids learned about making ancient pottery, so we got out some cool clay and made some fun things out of clay! (It wasn't self-hardening clay, so it never dries--the stuff is super cool and the kids make new things with it every day!)

I like that the plot twists and turns a lot...and it makes you think. However, I don't appreciate Dan Brown's endings in his books. I find the endings incongruent with the rest of his stories--why make it a romance for the last chapter...
