A World without walls
everyday life while homeschooling overseas
This is something I love about Colombo: the clouds. Obviously, they look like ordinary clouds in this picture. You might say, "So what? Clouds are clouds!" Well, the thing that I love about the clouds in Sri Lanka is the movement. We all know that there are different types of clouds at different levels. In Colombo, the lower level clouds move super fast pretty much all of the time. The upper level clouds don't move hardly at all (sort of like how 'normal' clouds move...nice and slow). In the picture above, the giant puffy cloud was racing across the sky, while the little puffies above stood almost still. It's pretty incredible and rather hypnotizing to look up and watch the amazing atmosphere put on a gymnastics show. I love it.
