A World without walls
everyday life while homeschooling overseas
There is a young lady in our ward who is leaving for a mission. Her dad is a musical guy and asked if I would perform a musical number with him on my clarinet for her farewell. Of course I said yes!! :) However, the cork on the top half of my clarinet body has been threatening to fall off for years. Sri Lanka did a number on my poor baby!! Luckily, since I knew it was coming, I was prepared and had purchased a kit for cork replacement. So when it finally fell off, while I was a bit freaked out, I figured I could make it right again. It took FOREVER, but I was finally able to make it look beautiful again! If this ever happens again, though, I hope I'm near an instrument repair shop so someone a little more professional than me can fix it. (Sadly, I never got to play the musical number. We got evacuated instead.)

I loved this book. I'm a sucker for fairy tales/fantasy. This was so well written! I can't wait to read all the rest of her books!
