What's this, you might ask? Is it my new house? Oh no...it's the kitchenette and dining room of our hotel in Dubai!! Wow! Talk about awesome! Off to the left was our living room: Yes. Living room. Around the corner was the hallway to the THREE bedrooms!! And we also had a laundry room complete with our own washer and dryer and 3 1/2 bathrooms. Not bad for a 12 hour layover, eh? Another plus, we were on the 11th floor and had a fabulous view. When we arrived, this is how it looked: The next morning, this is what we saw: Pretty, eh? It was HOT (43 C), humid and dusty. But pretty neat! And along that skyline is the tallest building in the world! Here it is a little closer: And now we're off for more fun in the sky...

I like that the plot twists and turns a lot...and it makes you think. However, I don't appreciate Dan Brown's endings in his books. I find the endings incongruent with the rest of his stories--why make it a romance for the last chapter...
