A World without walls
everyday life while homeschooling overseas
Today is our official first day of Spring Break. Andrew and Claire finished up the finals for their hardest online classes on Saturday. I'm SO glad those are done! It'll be nice to have no more complaints and tears about them! Josh finished up before he left and has now had a full week at work! I LOVE it when he's called, as his face is just glowing with happiness! He told me on Tuesday night that he had learned more in 2 DAYS than he had in the past YEAR! So proud! I do hope his enthusiasm continues and that he learns more and more every day and overcomes hardships and learns who he is and all he can do! And for me, I get to learn to let go and let him fly and know that he is in God's hands. It's a good lesson for me. Devin arrived in DC late last night and so we're on the home stretch! Just one more week until he gets home! HOORAY! I'm so lazy when he's not here! It's funny, because he's hardly home when he IS here--I suppose it's just knowing that he'll come home at the end of the day and that gives me incentive to accomplish more during the day. I'm looking forward to one more week of binge watching Gilmore Girls with Claire and not having to force them all to do math and English. *Sigh of happiness*

Emily's books

I like that the plot twists and turns a lot...and it makes you think. However, I don't appreciate Dan Brown's endings in his books. I find the endings incongruent with the rest of his stories--why make it a romance for the last chapter...

I loved this book. I'm a sucker for fairy tales/fantasy. This was so well written! I can't wait to read all the rest of her books!

I'm reading this one again. I liked it the first time I read it. I'm still liking it for the second time around. I like all of Shannon Hales' books.
