When it's bedtime, we give our kids a quick bedtime snack. We do this for two reasons. First, it really seems to help them sleep better. Second, we like to read the scriptures together as a family, and this is the ONLY way we can get the kids to sit still and listen...and sometimes *gasp* even participate! This is just a sampling of our bedtime snacks which are always either just fruits or a combination of fruits and veggies. The kids love it and we don't mind joining in, either! We always have apples and oranges, but we've also had pears, grapefruit, kiwis, bananas, mangoes, pineapple, cucumbers, carrot sticks, grapes, etc.
