I tried. I really did. I thought since I was going to go somewhere not only hot, but humid, I'd want my hair long so I could pull it back and have less issues with frizz. I really don't think that's possible. My hair just doesn't grow long. It gets scraggly and thin and unhappy, which makes me unhappy. So, after 6 months of trying to grow it out, I gave up. And now my hair is happy, and I am, too!
I think I'm just a short hair person. I'm ok with that. As long as I can find people who can cut short hair...
I have not been a good blogger the past...oh...3 years or so. I apologize to myself and my children and the one reader. :) Since I only have a few months left, it's time for me to play catch-up! Here are some totally random back log items that are fun:
I needed something to hold all my knitting/crocheting needles! So, I made one! It was a fast, easy, fun project and does a great job. :) Hooray for organization!

I like that the plot twists and turns a lot...and it makes you think. However, I don't appreciate Dan Brown's endings in his books. I find the endings incongruent with the rest of his stories--why make it a romance for the last chapter...
I loved this book. I'm a sucker for fairy tales/fantasy. This was so well written! I can't wait to read all the rest of her books!
I'm reading this one again. I liked it the first time I read it. I'm still liking it for the second time around. I like all of Shannon Hales' books. **Still lots of fun the second time around! I do like this book for a comfortable...
