A World without walls
everyday life while homeschooling overseas
Day #2 Blessing... Devin and I exercise on a regular basis. He rides his bike or runs to work; I do aerobics, yoga, or run in the mornings before school starts; our kids usually sit and watch. :) This morning however, I came into the living room to see this: What a blessing! They had pulled out the trampolines and the kids' trampoline exercise DVD, and they were giggling and laughing and moving! It may be a one-time thing...or it may be the start of something new. Regardless, it was a fun surprise this morning! I need to add one more thing: As part of the Christmas Season, our church has put out an Amazing Program: Light the World There is a short (think 2 1/2 minutes long) video that is really marvelously done, and there is an advent calendar with one thing to do each day of the month leading up to Christmas to help us center or celebration more on the Savior and living as He did. (Here is one for little kids, too!!) Today's is honoring our parents. I talked to my parents--and my grandparents--this morning, but I want to publicly say how AWESOME my parents are! I love them so much and am so grateful for they have done and continue to do for me and for my little family! They are kind, loving, accepting, and happy. I love you, Mom and Dad!!

Emily's books
by Dan Brown
I like that the plot twists and turns a lot...and it makes you think. However, I don't appreciate Dan Brown's endings in his books. I find the endings incongruent with the rest of his stories--why make it a romance for the last chapter...

I loved this book. I'm a sucker for fairy tales/fantasy. This was so well written! I can't wait to read all the rest of her books!

I'm reading this one again. I liked it the first time I read it. I'm still liking it for the second time around. I like all of Shannon Hales' books.
