A World without walls
everyday life while homeschooling overseas
We had the amazing opportunity to go to a Utah Symphony concert geared toward kids! It was super awesome--a play/concert all about the life and music of George Gershwin! The kids all enjoyed themselves, and I admit to tearing up when that clarinet solo at the beginning of Rhapsody in Blue came on! Then we were supposed to go to a birthday party for a nephew...but we missed our train by 2 minutes! So we went to Temple Square and looked around a bit while waiting for the next train... We eventually made it to the birthday party, which was fun! Then we came back and did a family service project (mowing the lawn and trimming apple trees), went out to eat at a buffet where we are ourselves silly, then came back for a pajama party! Hooray for family time!
