A World without walls
everyday life while homeschooling overseas
We sold our car! What a relief. Now we are without our own wheels, but it is a burden lifted! I think it's funny that we have to sell our car that we have HERE and use on a somewhat regular basis in order to afford to buy a house that is far away, and which we'll use this summer...but not again for a LONG time. Oh well. It is what it is. Life is all about making sacrifices and taking the time and opportunity to focus on HIM and what He would have us do. This is what we need to do now. That much was very clear. So, we shall see! From now on, we'll be making our way around town in tuk-tuks and taxis...and taking trips in vans! Here is our car being driven out of our driveway for the last time: ...and now that we have no car, we have room for more creative space! Here is the club-house that used to be our garage: I'll take imaginative play over paying for a car, plus fuel, plus insurance, plus a driver, any day.
Oh, and just in case you wanted to see it, here's our cute new house! This is all we've seen of it, too! Ha! :)

I loved this book. I'm a sucker for fairy tales/fantasy. This was so well written! I can't wait to read all the rest of her books!

I'm reading this one again. I liked it the first time I read it. I'm still liking it for the second time around. I like all of Shannon Hales' books.
